Getting to the hospital
To make it a little easier to find us, here are step by step walking instructions from Stepney Green Tube Station for you. Stepney Green is on the Hammersmith & City and District lines.
It usually takes fifteen minutes to walk from Stepney Green Tube Station to our clinic at Mile End Hospital, but in case you get lost, please leave yourself plenty of time to find us!
There’s parking and an easy drop-off at Mile End Hospital if you’re driving or taking a cab.
When you come out of Stepney Green Tube Station, turn left.
When you get to the crossing, turn left into Globe Road.
When you see the Horn of Plenty pub on your right, cross the street and walk down Alderney Road.
As you walk, you’ll pass a little green – you’re nearly there.
After a few minutes you’ll see Mile End Hospital right in front of you. Go into the entrance at the front marked Bancroft Unit / Main Entrance.
Getting to the clinic
- Enter the hospital via the Bancroft Road entrance.
- Follow the arrows on the map above and walk round to the Community Women’s Health entrance.
- Turn right before the entrance to the waiting room for Rheumatology and blood tests.
- Take the lift or stairs to the 3rd Floor.
- Go through the doors to the clinic and turn right. They are almost always open, if not, ring the bell.
- You’ll find us at the end of the corridor – last room on the right. Come right in!
